Terms and Conditions
Version: 1 October 2026 (draft)
1. Provider and scope
The provider is Internetmarketing Geissel, Thorsten Geissel, Leipziger Str. 22, 50858 Köln, Germany (kontakt@claronda.de). These terms apply to all contracts for paid services from Claronda concluded in English, in particular the single property report and the monthly and annual access. Deviating terms of the customer apply only if we agree to them in writing.
2. What you get
The property report summarises publicly available information about a property and presents it in English: cadastral data, flood and coastal protection status, wildfire history and risk zones, protected areas, noise, terrain, land cover, aerial images since 1956, distances in the neighbourhood and registered holiday lets. Which points are included is shown on the product page before you order.
The report is not an official statement, not legal advice and not a valuation. It does not replace the land registry extract or a review by a lawyer, notary or surveyor. Official data sets have gaps: “not mapped” does not mean “no risk”. The report identifies such gaps rather than concealing them.
With a monthly or annual access you can open reports on any properties during the term, up to 25 different reports per calendar month — with the annual access likewise per calendar month. A report you have already opened in a month can be viewed again as often as you like; it only counts once. Reports not used up expire at the end of the month.
After creating an account and confirming your email address you can unlock one report free of charge, once per person. There is no entitlement to this; using several accounts to take up the offer more than once is not permitted.
Alerts about new auctions are free of charge and can be cancelled at any time.
3. Conclusion of the contract
The presentation on the website is not a binding offer. By submitting your order you make an offer; the contract is concluded with our confirmation or with the provision of the report or the access. After the purchase you receive a confirmation by email with the contract details, these terms and the cancellation policy; we store the contract text. The contract language is English.
4. Prices and payment
The price stated on the product page applies. Prices are in euros. In accordance with § 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), no VAT is charged (small business scheme). Payment is made via the payment service provider named during the ordering process; provision requires full receipt of payment. For the monthly and annual access, the price is due in advance at the start of each period and is collected from the payment method on file.
At checkout our payment service provider may offer to let you pay in your local currency. The amount in that currency, including the provider's conversion rate and fee, is shown before you pay. You can also pay in euros.
Customers in the United Kingdom: before ordering we ask whether you live in the United Kingdom. If you do, payment is processed through Stripe's merchant-of-record service (“Sold through Link”), which charges UK VAT where applicable as shown at checkout and sends you the receipt. We remain your contractual partner for the report or the access.
5. Provision
After receipt of payment you receive a personal link to the report; an access is activated in your account. The checks run immediately; individual points can take a few minutes, and the report shows the progress. A report bought individually remains available for twelve months and can be printed or saved as a PDF at any time. Anyone who has the link can read the report — only share it deliberately.
6. Term and cancellation of the access
The monthly access runs for one month and renews for a further month each time unless you cancel beforehand. You can cancel it at any time with effect from the end of the paid month.
The annual access runs for twelve months from booking. If you do not cancel it by the end of these twelve months, it continues for an indefinite period; you can then cancel it at any time with one month's notice. We refund the part of the annual price that relates to the time after such a cancellation takes effect.
You can cancel via the button Cancel contracts here, which is at the bottom of every page, in your account or by email to kontakt@claronda.de. You receive a confirmation of receipt by email. The access continues until the cancellation takes effect. The right to terminate without notice for good cause remains unaffected.
When the access ends, the reports you opened through it can no longer be viewed. Save reports you want to keep as a PDF beforehand. Reports bought individually are not affected.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a right of withdrawal. Details and the model withdrawal form are in the cancellation policy; you can also withdraw using the button Withdraw from contract.
Single report: As the report is produced immediately, the right of withdrawal expires if, during the ordering process, you expressly agree that we begin before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Without this consent we only begin once the period has ended.
Monthly and annual access: The right of withdrawal remains in place during the fourteen days, even if we activate the access immediately at your request. If you withdraw, you pay a proportionate amount for the time up to the withdrawal; we refund the rest.
8. If a check fails
We query official bodies whose availability we do not control. If a point fails for technical reasons, we complete it within seven days and show it in the report as “no assessment” until then. If more than three of the checks remain permanently without a result, we refund half the price on request; if more than six remain without a result, we refund the full price. Missing data at the authorities themselves — for example a region that does not publish burnt areas — is not a failure in this sense, but is named in the report.
9. Use of the content
You may use the report for your own purposes, print it and pass it on to your advisers, your bank or your notary. Publication, resale and systematic evaluation or automated querying of our content are not permitted. Third-party rights in the underlying data remain unaffected; the licence notices are in the report.
10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body and health. In the event of a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise liability is excluded. Claims under the German Product Liability Act remain unaffected. We are not liable for decisions you make on the basis of the report — in particular bids in auctions. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country in which you are habitually resident.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for future contracts. Contracts already concluded are governed by the version that applied when they were concluded.
12. Final provisions
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If a provision is invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid.
